On November 7-8, 58 dancers on the J&T Dance Team participated in a 24 hour dance marathon. The girls danced for 24 grueling hours at the studio to raise money for Project Roadrunner, which benefits families served by Marylin Avenue Elementary School in Livermore. The elementary school has a large percentage of students who come from families living far below the poverty level.
Dancers raised money by asking for donations from people in the community. The 58 dancers raised an incredible $12,982 for Project Roadrunner. The money will be used for the project's annual holiday gift drive. A special thanks to all of our dancers who participated in the marathon and all of the people who donated to this worthy cause. We are so proud!
